Weeell, actually I didn't want to post this drawing but since I have nothing else to upload and it's already been a while...
This is a fanart to the manga Seiho High School Boys from mangaka Kaneyoshi Izumi which manuscript I was able to read during the Carlsen Manga-Scout Project. We 'Scouts' had to fulfill some tasks like writing a recension about the given manga, drawing a fanart with the favourite character from the manga or writing a songtext.
SHSB is a funny and fresh manga and also the characters are likeable. I couldn't really choose the best out of all but the four characters I've drawn are surely amusing. The Boy in the red shimmy and the black shirt is called Makki and he's the main character and also the narrator. He seems to be more serious, careful and thoughtful than the other boys, that's his charm :3
Blondie is Hana-kun/chan who's a bit feminine but still a very nice and funny person. The guy with the glasses is Nogami-kun, he seems intelligent but he's a bit perverted and nonchalant and the last one on top of Makki-kuns hand is Kamiki-kun, who is good-looking, nice but honestly kind of dumb but he's not completely an idiot xD
Anywayy, that's pretty much my first impression after having read the first volume of SHSB.

To be honest I'm not satisfied at all with this fanart. It looks like I've deproved instead of improved o.O And I don't even have got ifs and buts to excuse myself (T___T)
Maybe it was because I was thinking too much, that I MUST do this drawing for Carlsen (I love Carlsen Comics! ♥) although I had no inspiration at all. So I just did and that's how the fanart looks like :( It's not that I didn't put any efforts in it while drawing but one could say my creativity was somehow blocked...And to top all that the scan is awful :D It can't be worse, can it ? -.-
Okay, I'll stop complaining ^^
Edit: Okay Worries are gone and efforts payed off O__O I've won the first prize !! That means I'm going to get a complete Subscription for that series and an iPad !!! *___* ~♥ OMG I'm so happy!!! Incredible, Incroyable, Increíble !
